By the end of Procreate Made Simple you will have created a finished piece of lemon artwork, the same illustration that reached over 2 million people on social media. More importantly, you will understand exactly how you made it, because every tool, gesture and technique is taught properly before you use it.

This course is built around a simple idea: you do not need to be a great artist to get great results. You need to understand the tools. Once you know what every button, gesture and panel actually does, your iPad stops being intimidating and starts being the most relaxing creative space you own.

Learn anywhere, at your own pace

Procreate Made Simple is mainly text and short videos to demonstrate the trickier steps. Every video is completely silent. No narration to keep up with, no pausing and rewinding while someone talks too fast. You can work through the whole course in a library, on a quiet commute, or beside a sleeping baby. The course moves exactly as fast as you do.

Every lesson has an honest time estimate based on real reading speed, not a guess. The full course is around three hours of reading & videos, spread over as many sittings as you like, plus the time you spend actually drawing, which is the fun part.

• Module 1, Getting Started: setting up your canvas, finding your way around the app, the gestures that make Procreate fast, QuickShape, drawing guides, and how brushes, the eraser and the smudge tool really work
• Module 2, Learning The Basics: layers, blend modes, colour, building and saving palettes, selections, the Transform tool, alpha lock, clipping masks, layer masks, adjustments, effects and adding text
• Module 3, Let's Draw: the lemon project from blank canvas to finished artwork, using everything you learned in Modules 1 and 2, finishing with how to export, print and share your work, including your own time-lapse video
