Refund policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

The Irish Crafter sells digital products only: online courses, Procreate brush sets, colour palettes and printable guides. There is nothing physical to send back, so this policy sets out exactly where you stand.

Your right to change your mind

Under Irish and EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered straight away, that right ends once delivery begins, as long as you asked for immediate delivery and understood that you were giving up the right to cancel.

Everything here is delivered instantly. When you complete your purchase you are asking me to give you access right away, and you accept that your right to cancel ends once you download a file or open a course lesson.

The refund I offer anyway

I would rather you were happy than technically bound by the paragraph above.

If you have not downloaded any files and have not opened any course lessons, email me within 14 days of buying and I will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.

If something is wrong

These rights stand no matter what else this policy says. If a product is faulty, does not work as described, or you cannot get at what you paid for, contact me and I will sort it out. If I cannot, you get a full refund. This is not limited to 14 days.

Problems I can usually fix in minutes:

  • Your download link never arrived, or it has expired
  • A brush set will not install in Procreate
  • You cannot sign in to your course
  • A file is corrupted or will not open

Please try me before you assume you are stuck. Most of these take one email.

Duplicate or wrong purchases

Bought the same product twice, or bought the wrong one? Email me and I will refund it in full. This one is easy and it happens to everybody.

How to ask for a refund

Email ruth@theirishcrafter.com with the email address you used at checkout and your order number. I answer every email myself, usually within two working days.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank will typically take 5 to 10 business days to show it.

What I cannot refund

  • A course you have already worked through, unless there is a genuine fault with it
  • Files you have downloaded, unless they are faulty or not as described
  • A change of mind because you do not have an iPad, a stylus or the Procreate app. Every product page lists what you need before you buy, so please check that first

Before you contact your bank

If you are unhappy, please email me before opening a dispute with your card provider. I have never turned down a fair refund and going direct is much faster for both of us.

Complaints

If we cannot settle something between us, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at www.ccpc.ie. If you are buying from another EU country, the European Consumer Centre Ireland at www.eccireland.ie can help.
