Hi Everyone,
Happy May! I've decided to make these newsletters a regular thing. The plan is to land in your inbox on the 1st of each month with a couple of freebies and an update on what I've been up to.
Thanks for being here. It genuinely means a lot. If you have any questions or just want to say hi, get in touch and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
Talk soon,
Ruth

Weekly Tutorials
I've been putting out a tutorial every week over on my short-form channels. Here's what I've covered so far:
01 5 Settings Every Procreate Beginner Should Know
02 5 Gestures Everyone Should Know
03 The Reference Feature Explained
04 Alpha Lock vs Clipping Mask: What's the Difference?
If you've been finding them useful, I'd love to hear from you. And if there's something you'd like me to cover, let me know. It genuinely shapes what I make next.

Long-Form YouTube Videos
Alongside the short-form stuff, I've been working on some longer videos for YouTube. More in-depth walkthroughs and real-time sessions, the kind of content that doesn't quite fit into a 60-second clip. I'm looking forward to sharing them. Make sure you're subscribed so you catch them when they go up.
A quick mention
Paperlike
As many of you know, I've been working with Paperlike for a while now. If you draw on an iPad and haven't tried their screen protector, it's worth looking at. It gives the surface a texture that makes the whole drawing experience feel a lot more natural. I use it myself and wouldn't be without it.

This Month: Wild Roses
This month I'm spotlighting the Wild Roses stamp brush set. Detailed floral stamps for Procreate, great for surface pattern design, greeting cards, or adding botanical detail to any project.
A commercial licence is also available if you want to use the brushes in work you sell. Full details on the product page.
And on that note, I've been working on a Birth Flower brush set that I'm really excited about. More on that soon.
Community
Thank you for the kind words
The comments and messages I get on Instagram and TikTok mean a lot. I read them all, even if I don't always manage to reply. It's genuinely hard to keep up across both platforms, which is part of why I set up the Facebook group. It's a space where people can actually talk to each other, share their work, ask questions, and get a proper response. If you haven't joined yet, come on in.
Find us on Facebook: the page for updates, and the group for conversation.
